MX F 5% Topical Solution is a combination medication primarily used to treat alopecia (hair loss). It stimulates hair growth and slows the balding process, particularly in androgenetic alopecia (male pattern hair loss), a permanent condition leading t baldness.
Composition
MMX F 5% consists of Minoxidil (a vasodilator) and Finasteride (a 5- alpha-reductase inhibitor).
Minoxidil widens blood vessels, improving blood flow and oxygen to hair follicles, preventing cell death, and promoting new growth.
Finasteride lowers dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels, reducing hair follicle thinning in androgenetic alopecia.
Usage
Use MX F 5% as directed by your doctor. Apply it to the affected areas of the scalp using the spray, foam, or lotion forms. Avoid
application on inflamed or irritated skin, and do not use on shaved or sunburned areas. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should
